Following a lengthy application and vetting process, the Australian Communications and Media Authority has authorised Acceleon to use and disclose customer infomation for the purpose of the publication and maintenance of a public number directory in accordance with the Telecommunications Act and the IPND Scheme.

This ensures that Acceleon will be able to provide its customers with the most current telephone information available to support its customers data quality and skip tracing activites.

The IPND is an industry-wide database containing all listed and unlisted public telephone numbers. It was established in 1998 and is managed by Telstra under the Carrier Licence Conditions (Telstra Corporation Limited) Declaration 1997 (the licence conditions). It is a critical source of information for emergency and law enforcement purposes.
